Day Four
The textbook and the rap/ power point cover the same main topic of Ancient Rome. They are very similar in a way that they both explain the story of how Rome came to be and the events following, including the government leaders that came to power and the laws set in place. The differences between the two is that the rap doesn't go into as much detail as the book, and more quickly sums up when an important event happens. Also, because it is a song the rap uses words that fit with the beat and rhyme, so some of the information is turned into more slang and simpler terms. The book however goes into full detail and has no restraint for words or the amount of words used. I think both give great information and are both very useful in this unit.
